POLICIES FOR SUBMISSION OF PRODUCTS AND/ OR SERVICES IN HOMEBASED XCHANGE

HOMEBASED XCHANGE is a members-only, free service to promote homebased products and services.

Products or services submitted must be individually owned and cannot be of the following types:

• Multi-Level Marketing or Direct Selling products
• Medicinal products or services such as the selling of vitamins, cold cures, etc.
• Vacation club memberships
• Hygiene-related products such as breast pumps, urinals, etc.
• Cigarettes, cigars, alcohol
• All companionship services
• All illegal trade in accordance with the Malaysian law

If you wish to post a product or service in this section, send an email with the accompanying ad to registration@ehomemakers.net. The ad will be posted at our discretion.

We also request advertisers to use their discretion when disclosing telephone numbers or email addresses for contact purposes. We will not be responsible for unsolicited phone calls or email messages received as a result of placing these advertisements in Homebased Xchange.

READ THESE POINTERS BEFORE POSTING AN AD IN THIS SECTION:

1. First and foremost, please ensure that you advertise ONLY home-based businesses or services that do NOT belong to the following types:

• Multi-level marketing or direct selling products
• Medicinal products or services such as the selling of vitamins, cold cures, etc.
• Vacation club memberships
• Hygiene-related products such as breast pumps, urinals, etc.
• Cigarettes, cigars, alcohol
• All companionship services
• All illegal trade in accordance with the Malaysian law

2. Write your ad in ENGLISH.

3. Please do not ask us to find you home-based jobs. We only provide you a platform to advertise your products/ services. Potential clients/ customers will contact you directly.

4. Please be specific about the products/ services you offer. If you write to us and tell that you are willing to do “any home-based job”, we are unable to post your ad.

5. Provide a title, description of the product/ service and appropriate contact details in your advertisement.

   Title: One or two words to describe your product/ service. Example: Babysitting Services/ Jewellery

   Description:Describe the services you offer or the product you sell. You can also use this space to indicate where you are located.

   Example of service offered: I offer home-based babysitting services for 1-3 year olds in Kepong and surrounding areas. I emphasise on good family values and children are cared for in a clean and safe environment.

   Example of product description: I am a stay-at-home mum who makes jewellery with wire and beads. All the designs are original and all items are reasonably priced. Have a look at my website for more information.

   If you do not mind disclosing your telephone number, please include it together with the “Description” above. If you have an email address or you have a webpage for potential clients to view your products/ services, please include them here.

6. Ensure no spelling or grammatical mistakes as nothing turns potential clients off faster than these types of mistakes. Run your work through a good spelling and grammar checker or have someone else carefully read what you have written.
