Lordman Alliance (LA) (http://www.lordmanalliance.com/index.asp) is a network of over 2000 ethical businesses who pledge to be fair and deliver quality products/ services in a timely manner. Under LA, businesses are monitored for their ethical behaviors, and LA takes responsibility for the quality and delivery of any services/ products referred to the LA networks (comprising overseas networks with same ethical principles as corporate governance.) The members range from all kinds of manufacturers, professional services to transportation companies. You can find an ethical company in the LA network for any product/ services you are looking for!  

Before March 07, all eHomemakers who sign up to be in the eHomemakers-Lordman Alliance Business Associates (eH-LABA) will receive free membership. Just call 03-78793754 or email salaamkv@ehomemakers.net for a registration form. Once you are accepted as an eH-LABA member, you will be sent a membership number. You can then call up LA when you refer any business to LA’s network. When the deal is successful, you will get 55% of the commission that the business pledges to give LA. If you refer your neighbor’s house renovation which costs Rm100,000 to a LABA certified housing contractor, and the housing contractor gives 10% to LA as referral fees, LA will pay you Rm5000!

How does it work? The housing contractor who is a member of LA must also give a copy of his invoice to your neighbor to LA for a win-win-win transparent transaction. If the contractor doesn’t do a good job, your neighbor can complain to LA and LA will do the necessary, including taking legal actions. In a worst case scenario, LA will pay another contractor out of its own funds to ensure that this contract is done well. You will still get your Rm5000.

If you are an eH-LABA member and you refer your own renovation (or other business) to LA, you will also get your 55% commission off the one that the contractor gives to LA!
